Whale Mitigation Strategy

The TRLFA has developed this industry Code of Practice in association with DPIPWE to assist fishers to reduce the risk of whale entanglement in Tasmanian waters. The objective of the CoP is to prevent whale entanglement in rock lobster pot lines through the implementation of best practice operational measures.
